WEARING MEN SHIRTS

How many of you are guilty of wearing your boyfriend’s clothes as a teenager? I am! Nothing said commitment more than his high school sweater or leather jacket. The best part was when he’d pass it over to you after a good night kiss in his pick-up truck, smelling fresh of his Polo cologne, which made you day dream all through math class the next day.

We may grow up from many things, but I will never grow up from the pride I feel when wearing a piece of my man’s wardrobe. Now a days, I tend to keep it for a stay at home outfit, but last week's lazy weekend had me test my creativity for a last minute swap from the couch to Moxie’s.

I totally broke my own “dress for your body type” rule with this one, as baggy shirts are a no no for us hourglass girls. But I still managed to make things interesting and even got a few compliments from the waitresses at the restaurant with this combo.

Cropped leopard leggings was a must with this oversized white button shirt. They were tight enough to show off my legs, and loud enough to save this outfit from boring. These round toe, black patent leather shoes with a leopard wedge, extended my legs, which balanced my lower half next to this long top. A mint bag and small gold accessories were just enough to soften this casual yet bold look.

Who wants to take an hour to get ready for a spontaneous outing on a lazy Sunday? I sure don’t! Follow these easy tips to get you out of the house before your spouse can get his pants on. This ain’t no “Risky Business”!
